In the past, thousands of students have submitted their great ideas and brought them to life with a 3D printer. Stratasys is once again calling on middle school, high school and college-level students worldwide to send us their best, innovative and creative redesigns.
Everyone who enters their design will receive an official Extreme Redesign t-shirt. The top 10 entries for each category will be printed on a Stratasys 3D Printer. After final judging, 3D models will be sent to students along with a $50 USD (approximately €35) gift card. Additional first, second and third place prizes will also be awarded to the winning entries in each of the three categories.
- First Place: $2500 USD (approximately €1750) plus an iPad for the instructor
- Second Place: $1,000 USD (approximately €700)
- Third Place: $1,000 USD (approximately €700)
- Bonus Prize: $250 USD (approximately €175)
New for this year’s contest:
Stratasys is excited to announce that for College Engineering submissions, finalist designs will be evaluated by EDISON NATION – a matchmaker for inventors and manufacturers who wish to commercialize new inventions. Finalists have a chance at having their idea turned into a real commercial product and to secure a licensing agreement with a manufacturer.
